Is anyone out there feeling the new Bond, Daniel Craig, at all? I for one think he's not right for the part at all: too blond, too blue-eyed, too short, too stocky. Maybe it's just me...

With that in mind, let's hear your favorite Bonds. Mine, in order, are:

    1. Connery (of course): the original and the best. Tall, suave, charming, deadly, great sense of humor.

    2. Brosnan: he had the look, great action guy, nice height.

    3. Lazenby: again tall, charming, suave, not as good an actor as Connery. Too bad he only did one film.

    4. Roger Moore: too cheesy for my taste, too smarmy with the ladies, though he had the look (great profile going back to his The Saint days). His Bond marked the beginning of the great Bond stunts.

    5. Tim Dalton: too short, too non-committal, didn't have the look nor profile, too short a stint as Bond (2 films). His Bond had nice stunts though.

Yea you should probobly stop bitching and write to the studio.

Fuck, hell either do great or bad, and i doubt his acting will make/ruin the movie, itll be the lame ass screenplay, Die Another Day and Diamonds are Forever were the 2 worst bond movies and they starred Brosnan and Connery, but they also happened to be in the 2 best ones.

Dont complain unless youve seen the movie, Ive got a bad feeling about this one, but i think itll be a step from the recent crap theyve let out.

Aww, I always liked Roger Moore the best...or rather the movies he was in were my favorites. A View to Kill, The Spy Who Loved Me...Then again, I loved Goldeneye too :)

Great analysis, genius. I'm sure "hell" do one or the other. [IMG]

And for someone who hasn't seen the movie, where is your bad feeling coming from? Also, for someone who is complaining about bitching, you sure have a lot to say about the scripts. Maybe you yourself should "probobly" write to the studio.

Next time, just read the post and leave your opinion on what it called for in the first place (your favorite Bond). The good writing skills, in your case anyway, is optional...

And yes, Fiddy, I liked Spy myself; I think the part where he skies off the slope and the Union Jack parachute opens up marks the beginning of the great Bond stunts.

I'm sorry, I'll use apostraphes from now on, just for you.

I very much dislike the recent scripts which is why I havent paid to see any of the movies, and have been in no rush to see them. The movie has the same writers as the previous ones, so based on past trend its appropriate to say that it might be weak. To bash a movie because the main actor is too short, blonde, and blue eyed, even though you have yet to see him display his skills, is quite different.

Also, I didnt use spell check, you can do that for me if you wish.

If you were paying attention, you'd see that i never bashed any of the Bond movies, not even the two Craig ones yet to come out. As a matter of fact, I like most of the movies, even if I don't like the way the actor in it played the Bond part. But not once in my original post do you see the name of a movie...

I only commented on the actors that have played Bond and how suitable they were for the role based on how his original creator (Fleming) intended him to be. In the books, especially Casino Royale, he is tall, dark (eyes and hair) and not bulky.

I don't insult Daniel Craig as an actor, he seems a fine actor to me, but he really was the wrong choice to play 007.
