augh. i woke up at three pm, stayed up all night, stayed up all day, and now it's... some time in the middle of the night, or the beginning of the morning. why isn't there an end of the night? is the end of the night the same as the beginning of the morning? anyway. i can't sleep. what's up?
Poor you.. it's called winter, the closer you are to the artic circle, the shorter the days. Trust me, I live in scotland! Up further north there is usualy about 4hrs day light and past aberdeen, sometime you can see th northern lights :/
yeah... it's that really wonky confused time of the year right now. and i just have really bad insomnia anyway, and take naps from exhaustion in the middle of the day, and i thought if i stayed up i might be able to go to sleep some time normal.
The fucking clocks go back tonight for Britain. We will get another sacred hour in bed and the mornings will be darker and colder. Britain now rejoins GMT.
I had a really wierd couple of days too, up for 30 hours, sleep for 3, up another 20 hours sleep for 4, up another 24 hours sleep for 14, up for 6 hours sleep for 14. I bought some sleeping pills to get myself straight. I guess it must be the changing of the seasons.
yeah. humans are supposed to have a *ican'tthinkofthewordian* cycle and naturally sleep at night... but it's just not happening. your cycle's weirder than mine. you win .
Sleep wakefullness cycle? We learned that bad boy in intro Psych. I think part of my no sleep was midterms and the added stress that brings along. You ever use one of those airline style mask's I find they help. But the cheap ones I got from the airlines wear out quick. Im too cheap to buy one from a store. Its wierd though when youve only slept 6 or 7 hours in 2 days and your still "not tired". I hate that, probably what its like to be a crackaddict.
yeah... when you're exhausted and want to sleep but you lay down and nothing happens so you get bored and give up. i think i have windows of sleep opportunity that come at certain times, and if i don't do it then, i'm stuck awake until the next one.
I've had a couple years now Iwake up every 1 - 2 hours all night long. That is not seasonal and has nothing to do with whether it is kight out or not.
circadian rhythm... i think thats it I like it whan Janis Joplin says..."as a matter of fact, as we discovered on the train, tomorrow never happens, man....Its all the same fuckin' day, man"
Get fall on your ass drunk. I always sleep if I get that drunk. Then, I wake up smelly and covered in stomach acid.
Poor girl. I myself can never go to sleep earlier than 3 in the morning, I do think Moon's method is best though... pass out drunk, it works.
yeah... i think it's circadian. that sounds right. i heard it on the radio, they were talking about how people who work night shifts get sick and fat more. haha. i don't drink... last time i did i had two friends over and one of them fell asleep tied up in this awkward drunken knot on my bed, and i couldn't get him to move. it's now 5 am. i give in to my internal wonkyness. every time i do get to sleep lately i dream about horrible things happening in bathrooms. like people getting chopped up and put in cages, or me going insane and ripping stuff apart, or evil demons screaming at me. always in a bathroom, and i spend the whole dream looking for that damn bathroom too.
I wake up around 2 pm everyday to depending on my work schedule. I can't sleep at night at all, haven't been able to for years but if it's something you do every night, you'll eventually adjust to it perfectly and start planning everything around your sleep time.
I have nightmares like that to. Like this one that keeps repeating itself but is a little different everytime. I'm usually in the woods looking for missing bodies and at the end of the dream I look up and see this dead body hanging from a tree. It's the freakiest thing ever. Luckily it's day time out so I'm not as scared to fall back asleep.
