Alright. So I fashioned this waterfall gravity bong out of a 1 liter bottle and used a trombone mouthpiece, a couple metal tubes, and a tube of #5 plastic for the bowl/stem. The plastic is about 3 inches down the stem from where the bud burns. I figure that that should be fine; the smoke won't be as hot as if the plastic was next to the burning cherry, and the warm smoke won't like, release any death-chemicals from the plastic. I was smoking from just the trombone mouthpiece, so I'm thinking that bubbling the smoke down through the water will greatly reduce the black shit that gets into my lungs when I'm smoking. Personally, I don't like coughing up black shit. I am planning on purchasing a small acrylic aqua pipe for regular use, but I still want this gravity bong because it just hits so much harder than a regular bong ever could. Plus there's nostalgia value to the ghetto gravity bong for me. :jester: On another note, arty: .

My "design" actually was inspired by the Blissett Bucket. I stumbled upon that website via Wikipedia, and I was fucked amazed. The first time I watched it, I thought he was going to die. He took so much thick smoke so fast...I was amazed. (actually, I was re-watching the video right before I posted this ) I don't want to use the Bucket for a couple reasons. 1. I don't have a stem anywhere near long enough to merit use. The stem I made is already just barely long enough. 2. Usually my smoking is covert. I either do it in my house, quickly, or on the go (in a forest or some other spot). In either case, a 5-gallon bucket of water is not very practical. I suppose I could make it work, but in my house, I would probably have to re-fill the bucket every single time I smoked; I have nowhere to store an open 5-gallon bucket of water. But yes, I love the Blissett Bucket! That's funny...I based my bong on his, and you mentioned it...lol. Maybe I could make a video and like, give it to him...
yeah blissett buckets are not portable or covert but are the ultimate way of smoking. I have one I made about year and haft ago and still works to this day. You dont need a five gallon bucket if it is a smaller version. I use a one gallon bucket but also have used a two quart picture.
