that was my 1st thought but on a side note..why dont musicians like this learn to play instruments? i dunno i just dont concider flipping a switch on a drum machine to be musical ability is it just me? or does this type psuedo-music seem hollow and empty to others? not putting down the genre or this musician, just asking if others think music..the whole concept of what music means..is losing its 'realness' by relying too strongly on electronic gadgets to do most of the actual 'playing' instead of relying on actual people with actual instruments.. people with talent and ability and emotion you takethat out of the musical equation..and what are you left with? noise..sounds arranged according to rythem and harmony yes, so by definition 'music' but lacking the soul..the depth and perception that really makes music worthwhile or maybe its just me
I agree soaring. There is something spectacular about watching a talented musician and his instruments. I love watching Michael Kang of SCI or any of the boys from YMSB, especially Jeff Austin, go absolutely nuts with their fingers on the strings.
i mean i dont even mind so much if a band uses a drum machine or whatever as part of theyre songs..if its just like filler and isnt like the entirety of the song.. its just cold and lifeless
that song is mad simple and sounds like something i would have written in the 8th grade, but its still funny.
