I think it was edmonds classified them all as misfits....... and spezio agrees, he especially considers himself a misfit..... haha. I was watching the postgame in the lockerroom, and the word "misfit" was tossed around quite a bit...
belliard seems to fit in our program... and we also have miles, who is a switch hitter, which is nice... we set the record for the shortest tandem of double play combination in the world series with eckstein and miles..... who started game 4 one thing Im worried about is that there are a few players on st louis who are free agents this year, one is edmonds, and suppan is as well. they both love st louis, though...... but you know, agents will encourage them to go fishin on the market to see how much they are worth, even more so, now, since they won the world series.... Id hate to see jimmy edmonds go, he has been a fan favourite for 7 years now, in st louis.... Id like to see him put in a couple more years....
I'm very sad...I really wanted the Tigers to win They played like a bunch of ten year olds though, so they didn't deserve to win. I guess that's what inexperience gets you. I don't know though, it was damn good that they even made it to the World Series, especially after being one of the worst teams in baseball for a decade.
I was shocked at all the throwing errors by detroit pitching...... and verlander twice, both made inge dive on the ground...... crazy.. it was like deja vu the second time. I couldnt believe what I was seeing.
