The clocks go back at 2am tonight so this means another sacred hour in bed and the days will become much shorter and the nights much longer. Early mornings will be darker and colder and somewhat gothic! So how do people cope with this sudden change of time? We go back to GMT. I feel it is better going back than forwards into BST, because you need to get used to it whereas going into GMT, you kind of look forward to getting more time in bed.
What i've always wondered it what happens with tv? Like if you go on sky and look ahead, it doesn't have 2 2ams or anything. I've never been awake at a time change.. what do they play?
aw yay i forgot about this - i wudve been stuck waiting for a bus that wasnt coming for an hour...extra hour in bed - thats amazing news, im sooo tired all the time
Tv schedule is altered for that evening that clocks go back. They got put back at 2am which makes it easier. On Sky, Freeview, cable, the set top box adjusts time automatically. Sky usually repeat the daily shows but is the only multi channel service where I can watch Snoopy at five am. Clocks go back to Greenwich Mean Time. I don't have to go to LA to solve any problem with the clock going back. I just go to France. They are an hour ahead. Lucky french.
My Telewest Cable switched tonight at 1am, so went back to 12am ... It was weird, cause when you brought up the info on the program your were watching it said the time was 12:15am but the program you were watching came on at 1:00am. Sort of messes you up a bit.
well i have truly appreciated that extra hour in bed good ole clocks...tho i wont be so cheerful as theres more dark hours
