    Escribir is the verb.
But you have to conjigate it.

    Escribir in the preterito =
    Escribi
    Escribiste
    Escribio
    Escribimo
    Escribeis
    Escribieron

And if you are going to say "ole, ole, ole, ole" It's not "Hole" It's just "ole".

    Lol.
Yeah, in Spanish "H"'s are silent.
Like if you say Hola it doesn't sound like HOLE - LA it sounds like OH - LA.
    XD

but escribe is from the past not present and escribiendo would be the proper word.

If I were to say "Yo escribiendo" it would mean "I am writing" as in I am writing this very moment.

But what I said was "I don't know how to write the accents in the words."

    That in spanish would be...
Yo no se escribi los accentos en las palabras.

The correct sentence in Spanish is: "yo no sé escribir los acentos en las palabras". You have to use the infinitive "escribir", not the past "escribí". It is the same as in English, you say 'I don't know how to write the accents in the words', not 'I don't know how wrote the accents in the words'. Also, you cannot say "yo escribiendo", you have to say "yo estoy escribiendo", as it is in English 'I am writing'.

The only valid excuse for not using the accented vowels online is ignorance. Laziness doesn't cut it. Here's how to do it:

Hold hown the ALT key while typing the 3-digit code on the numbers key pad (not the numbers above the letters). When you release the ALT key the accented letter will appear in your text.

    alt 160 = á
    alt 130 = é
    alt 161 = í
    alt 162 = ó
    alt 163 = ú
    alt 129 = ü
    alt 164 = ñ
    alt 165 = Ñ
    alt 168 = ¿
    alt 173 = ¡
    alt 167 = º

Here's my sig line for example:

"Búscate el corazón y encontrarás tu camino."
(Find your heart and you will find your way.)
