Romance is not the end purpose of life. There are other things. It may seem like the largest experience, but in reality it is not. So cheer up! There's more to life.
I would be much more sympathetic to your plea for help if you were not rudely butting into other (serious, dealing with abusive relationship issues -- see http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200083) threads, trying to draw people over to your issue. That is not an appropriate addition to a post in which the OP is concerned that her daughter is involved in an abusive relationship. Why should anyone care about your issue when you are so disrespectful of other people's concerns?
