Well i knew it would happen one day becuase i smoked the cheeba, i got busted. for 4 grams was written a citation for simple possession and para.(high times, and papers) in tennessee, anyone know the normal? obvioulsy i dont want anything but i know thats not happening. cop said i would get probation and a fine. i can pay the fine no problem but i cant have probation it will more then likely come along with piss testing and i cant quit burning down.. anyone know something i could do to get as little as possible. maybe quit from now till then and say hey i already quit test me?? put myself in rehab and say i know its bad or something?? anything would be helpful
I'm a TNer, too... As the cop said, you'll probably get a fine and probation. But if you put yourself in a rehab program before the courtdate and you have some proof to show the judge and you can really make him think that you're changing then you could probably get off a LOT smoother.
i would so be down for going to rehab to get this shit cut down BUT! i have a job and if i lose it im fucked. so i cant sit in some rehibilitation bullshit place and lose my job to get simple possession charges dropped. yes the very one and same magazine we all know and love called it para because i had weed, oh yeah and he took my clear eyes, left my scissors and golden wraps though

you don't need rehab but there are these NA meetings you could attend and as for the probation you can still burn if you use a detox kit before a test. just make sure you know when the test is.
how would i get them? they pot smokers anonymous meetings or something..? and i definitely dont trust any detox shit
hmmm not sure bout your area but this may help....it lowered mine to just a fine (i had 5 grams, and a pipe) Hire a cheap lawyer, chances are on 4 grams, they dont really want to go through the time of running the papers for probation. You walk in with a lawyer, with some form of any defense and chances are you'll end up with a fine, and a slap one the wrist. This may be just around my area but as i stated i was busted a year ago with 5 grams and a pipe.....hired a lawyer, $115, walked out with a $98 fine. so total around $215. No probation, just a fine. Might work, i would say check into it, some lawyers offer advice at no charge......good luck man. - 42o -
In Kentucky, typically if you get probation, it just mean that you can't get arrested and convicted again during the probation period--if you do, you go to jail for this charge too. I think you're confusing probation with parole. I don't know of anyone who's ever had to take a drug test on probation for possession or even DWI.
