Yeah, if it happens at home or in close friends home, I do eat it. Especially if it happens at my best friend's home. She and I have no secrets and make no apologies. In a commercial establishment generally no I do not. I hate to admit it that I have become a hyporcrite as I have gotten older. This behavior is a total crock, because 25 years ago, I have a great deal of difficult with my family due to my sexual orientation. I dumpster dived, ate leftover food from customers plates, etc. For me not to eat something that hits the floor is a total crock of shit.
Depends on the type of food and my perception of the condition of the floor. Generally I apply the 10 second rule. But a piece of cut fruit on a less than spotless floor, gets thrown, and I've been known to find a nut in amongst the dog hairs as I'm sweeping and pop it into my mouth after removing the hairs.
3 factors: where i am, how hungry i am, how clean the floor is. i wouldn't do this in public, i probably wouldn't do this even living with anybody, but if i was at home, there wasn't much, i was living alone, and the floor was really clean, which has been the case several times in my life. well there's also such a thing as cleaning it off really good and cooking it some more again, which is easy at home, especialy if you live by yourself or you're the only one in the house at the time. floors in public places or living with someone who sheds and waits for someone else to clean up after them, i don't think so. =^^= .../\...
It really depends on what kind of fo0d it is, how clean the floor is, and what company i'm in. If i dropped a piece of chocolate on the floor in my living room, then sure i'd pick it up and eat it. If i dropped my ice cream on the floor in the McDonalds bathroom, it's there to stay.
depends on the floor..& the food ganja food i'd puck up out of the mud & eat it but some stuff wouldnt bother pickin up off a sterile floor it all depends on how badly i want the food & how disgusting the floor is..& if the want overpowers the grossout factor i'd definately go for it
5 second rule here. Also depends what floor its on. Like if i drop a cookie in a public bathroom, that things contaminated before it hits the floor.
Depends on the floor. The floor at school is a big no no (they openly admit to cleaning it 2 times a year, fucking nasty)
depends on how clean the floor is really. also what kind of food, like i'd eat a pringle off a semi-clean floor, but i wouldn't eat oatmeal off a semi-clean floor or a super clean floor.
