i love the idea.. but i don't really understand how shipping people from all over the uk on coaches will help with climate change in a good way..

As long as people are using the most efficient methods of transport it's not too bad. It would be a bit silly if people drove to London to protest climate change! Getting the message across is important enough to merit some extra mass transit journeys. A few tens of extra coach journeys aren't going to make much difference to global warming.

I would like to go but I don't think I will make it.

Nah, The last time i ventured out (i'm allowed out unsupervised now!!) i attracted too much attention. I didn't see the problem in wearing my underwear over my head regardless of the fact i wore nothing else.

Anyway, i think that by the time i'm dead (hopefully preserved in a bog) it won't really matter to me personally what happens to this world.

My advice: Don't breed, do what you like without getting caught and don't worry about skid marks.

    Simon-(simple, yet effective.)

That kills two birds with one stone quite nicely. By staying in the warm and not protesting, global warming goes unchecked and it won't be so cold next time you want to protest :p

Can't afford to get down to London two weekends in a row, so it's either house warming, or global warming. I am, however, hoping to go to the top up fees demo this Sunday, you up for it?

Are you guys going to I Count as well, I just realised the bike protest meets up with it. I might be there, but I may have to take my sister to a chlorine-filled, air-conditioned, NONPROFIT swimming pool.

Don't think anyone is going. the excuses mount up. Foot stuck in toaster, unwell, fell off the floor, spilt toothpaste over the cat.

I am going to meet the cyclists in Greenwich at 9am by the lift shaft in Cutty sark gardens.
There is a schedule done by Mr Craven. It is a feeder ride.

Didn't go in the end. Took one look outside at 08:00 and it looked really cold. Think everyone had the same feeling. Can anyone imagine going to Greenwich at 09:00? Freezing wind and as it is on the river, you also get even colder.

Shit that's a shame - the bad weather was probably because of climate change.
