Okay, admittedly I am completely trashed, but System of a Down's "Toxicity" album is sounding fucking sweet to me right now! :D

Anyone into metal - Know of anything better I can stick on when in such a condition? :)

Haha...Saxon. Haven't heard that name mentioned in a while :)

Cheers Paul, I'll have to check and see if we have any of those. I usually only listen to metal and metal related music when out and about, but 'Toxicity' somehow worked it's way to the cd player and I couldn't help but dig it!

    Hee :)

To coin a Less Than Jake phrase, back in college all my friends were metalheads and those bands you've mentioned there were never far from their ears. I imagine you've exercised some restraint in not berating me for labelling System of a Down 'metal'! I know they would of!

I'll definitely be digging some out next time I'm merry...

Metal's one of my least favourite genres probably, but I've always got a bit of time for System....

Tool were actually the band that made me think differantly about the genre. Before I had any of their albums it was simply music to listen to when trashed in a rock bar somewhere or other. But Tool I start listening to at home, sober! And they changed that. I don't think that makes sense, but I just can't be arsed to re-read what I typed. Which makes whatever else I type kinda suprising (tomorrow)...Hmm, Fiona Apple is great...Haha, she's not metal.

Never was comfortable with metal, it all used to be skin tight trousers and perms in my day. Did get to see the odd gig, Motorhead, Rainbow, AC/DC, Whitesnake and Led Zep though.

    Tool are not metal.

Chuck on some Iron Monkey, High on Fire, or Bongzilla. Always does the trick for me.
