Hey, I'm thinking I wanna try shrooms but know absolutely nothing about them. So I have a few questions. First: Can anything bad happen with shrooms? Like apart from having a bad trip? My friend said his friend took some and afterwards he got a black dot in his eye that never went away? Can things like this happen on shrooms? Also, how will I know if it's a poisoneouss mushroom or not? Because I don't want to eat a poisenouss one and die, how can I be sure it's a good mushroom? When you're tripping, is it really hard to distuinguish reality from fantasy? I mean, if I started seeing dragons I'd know it was fake, and why do people do such strange things like piss on people or jump off bridges when tripping, can't they control their actions? If I do it, i'll do it with a sober friend who will make sure I don't do anything stupid though. So basically, apart from a bad trip, is there any permanent side affects that could happen? You could get flashbacks. And residual visuals...but youd need quite a few trips I guess. And not everybody is vulnerable to that. Also, if you buy em well it will be the real thing...But usually you can see some blueing on the stems You will be able to distinguish reality from fantasy. You wont see dragons out of nowhere and stuff....The people who have jumped off bridges take so much that they dont control their actions anymore...or some commit suicide I guess
um ... the only thing i can think to offer is if you go hunting for them yourself and pick some, you may end up with something that may make you trip your balls off but then makes you so sick you could possibly die later on. that in my opinion would be a BIG negative. so, i'd recommend trying to find someone that sells them (that you know other people have bought from and not ended up in hosiptal), try to grow your own with a spore kit you can obtain online, or find a site online that ships them to your locale. i had a mild shroom trip before, only took about 1.75g and had nice visuals and could totally distingush reality from fantasy. it was out of this world though, and next time (now that i know what to expect fully) i will take at least 3g i think to get a nice hopefully out of body existencial (sp?) vibe going. i think the "pissing on people, jumping off bridges, running out into traffic" rumors you have heard of are more based on people tripping on mass quantities of acid (without a babysitter). it's always good, especially if you have never done them before to have someone with you. either someone experienced, or someone that will be sober and won't make you freak out more if you do get a bit wired up for any reason.
acid is no different to shrooms theres no reason rumours are made up more about acid than shrooms apart from people are in the habit of doing so.

Well what about my friend, he said his mate took them and ended up with a black dot in his eyes for the rest of his life? I'm not going shroom hunting, I will be buying them from a dealer, and we will buy enough for two people, and my friend will try them first, i'll be with him, sober, then vise versa. So if my friend takes them and everything works out fine, they'll definately be ok? I'm not worried about having a bad trip or w/e really, I just want to make sure I won't get any permanent side affects from them or have to go to hospital! Thanks again for the help guys.

hes the one thats hell keen to do it, he asked me if i wanted to do it to and i said ok maybe if you do it first though... the thing im scared about is any permanent side affects.
Ever thought that your friend had a black dot in his eye, all the time, and the mushrooms are what made him notice it for the first time? And now that he has noticed that it is there.... it will be there forever.... but would have been there forever even if he had not noticed it?
This seems like bullshit to me. I've had black spots before my eyes before Itook mushrooms. Anyway shine on.
