I went to a mixed school and would probably have gotten better grades if it wasnt for the distraction of the female students, be it through my own behavior or other males trying to get one up on each other. I know a couple of privatly schooled lads and while they are at first a little intimidated once they get passed their inhibitions they seem to do okay.
my friend has just moved from an all-girls school to a co-ed college. She has only just realised that her life was sheltered.
Girls tend to be better disciplined than boys in schools, and in general do better as a result. When mixed with boys this can drag their performance down. Conversely, it can also increase boys' performance because of their influence. Also, I think it's unnatural to separate boys and girls in schools, and can lead to some socially retarded individuals. At Cambridge I know a lot of people who went to separated schools. The best of them have turned into sex mad freaks as soon as they've met girls, and the worst have been incapable of getting anywhere....
I went to an all girls school untill this year, now i'm at college. I'm glad i'm at a mixed place now, but also glad i was at a girls school before cause i missed out on having to put up with the boys when they were in their immature stage. And my school had a boys school attatched to it, down the road, so we saw them quite frequently anyway so it was alright
