    How are you with confrontation?

I am not so good with it. I always end up breaking down and crying...or trying to make myself look big and bad and acting like a super-bitch, but then later I cry.

I am going to Philly Folk Fest with Trish next week, and one of my jobs know. My other job is going to be mad at me I know it. They are already mad because I got a new job (which they SHOULD NOT be). I don't even want it to turn into confrontation, but I know it's already going to turn out that way. They are going to try to make me feel bad by saying they are going to be short-staffed without me, and I have already hurt them by getting a new job.

They really do not NEED me there for those 5 days. They have people they can call in. But they always try to do this whenever I want to get away. Which hasn't been much.

I don't want to be a bitch, and I don't want to get fired. What would be a nice way to approach them to tell them I am not going to be there Aug 26-30?

I have it all played out in my head, but I am hoping someone can give me a better approach.

Just tell them that you have a life outside your job.

Well, if they tell me I can't go then I will say that. But I am asking how I should APPROACH them.

i can go either way depending on my mood,

i can either deal with it in a responsible manor or i could lay a mushroom cloud.

Hm, they would probably notice, but thanks for the offer.

I see you live in Nashville, that's not far from me at all. Do you know where Clarksville is?

Yeah... I've been there once. I don't get out of Nashville very often, though... or my house, for that matter...haha. :)

Mostly just taking care of baby and laundry and crap... I'm starting school pretty soon, though, so I'm going to have to go out there and socialize with a bunch of morons...haha... :)
