Of course big corporations have some influence.. they are the elite, but not the ruling power. President and his guys are the ones who rule, they get sponsored for their need maybe, but they are the ones who make decisions, and of course, Corp, elite are not far from them. Because I am not currently living under repression, is no reason for me to let my guard down and allow others to place me in that position. In the US our politiicians are elected to do the will of the people, not to benefit themselves by passing laws that only put money and benefits into the pockets of those that fund them. If the populus let's their guard down and allows these people to sell them out, we will face the same fate as those that survive in refuge camps.
