A little while ago came into the possesion of the vinyls of Surrealistic Pillow, After Bathing at Baxter, and Crown of Creation. All in great condition and they were my first real experience of Jefferson Airplane, and I'm just dissapointed I didn't listen to them sooner in my life ;).

yeah fly jefferson airplane is awesome I have that... we got really baked one night and watched it... when jorma does that riff at the beginning of high flyin bird at monteray pop me and my buddy were laughin so hard... like it was the funniest shit we ever saw.... ah man.... Jack is the man, I agree.... I saw him not long ago with hot tuna.

I also dig wooden ships but I I never know which one I like better theres or CSNY's I think I like theres the best just because the end is so amazing. I also heard CSNY play it live this summer so that was awesome.

I heard recently that Signe Anderson, the original singer for JA is having trouble with cancer, and the Airplane forums have a thread that tells folks where they can donate to help her with her treatment.

Signe sings on Jefferson Airplane Takes Off, but quit the band after that album to have a family. Hopefully she will make out allright, but I thought I should pass this info along to all the airplane lovers out there, so they can at least send her some love.

I love the airplane! I saw a great DVD "Fly Jefferson Airplane" and that is just so good. I am listening to Martha right now and that guitar and bass is so fine. I loved that crown of creation thing with grace's black face! and I thought Paul Kantner was sexy! Those guys were just so real!

i just picked up the Fly DVD the other day and what i have watched of it so far is pretty awesome.

I also got the remastered version of Surrealistic Pillow and the liner notes are the liner notes from the remaster Volunteers. The covers and the inside covers is the right ones for SP but the rest is Volunteers. Does anyone else have the booklet like this?
