A poem I wrote after helping to paint Taz's room, and finding a bottle of White Spirit. Still in its raw, unrevised stages, let me know what you think... White Spirit White Spirit, Harmful if swallowed, Keep away from sources of ignition- It’s their fiction Through rose-tinted eyes And flowery diction. Scratch the surface, For thinning the mind, And White Spirit Don’t give sight to the blind. White Spirit, Harmful if swallowed- Lies through letterboxes And posted propaganda; Men in suits, Still thugs In jackboots, Trading swastikas for Ballot boxes, One cross for another Like a wolf in a fleece. Fleece, fleeced for votes On moral panic massive To stir up the passive. Lock the doors, Throw away the key, ‘Ain’t nobody welcome If they don’t look like me!’ White Spirit, Harmful if swallowed. White Pride, Deadly when followed. So keep close, To sources of ignition!
anti white racism but thats ok take the cases of two kids racially murdered stephen lawrence who was stabbed and kriss donald who was 15 kidnapped in daylight because he was white tortured all night its reported his eyes were gouged out and he was castrated , then he was set on fire and he crawls 150 yards to a ditch ,where hes found in such a bad state the person who finds him thinks hes a dead pig thats been dumped . which case gets the attention, which name do you know, well the stabbing and stephen lawrence because the only racists are white arnt they
Actually, I know of both. But good to see you've joined the BNP Jonny. Your argument is ridiculous. How is my poem anti-white racism? It's anti-white pride which is a distinct phenomenon in society. As you should know, I'm anti all forms of racism....
well if you anti all forms of racism why do you only attack one form, if you attack just one side and the othersides torturing people all night thats racism
No, it's poetry, and it was specifically about the BNP if you read the lines. And it was partly for Paul, who's Irish friend recently got beaten up by skinheads. Poetry is not meant to be an essay, or a political speech. And although your comparison between Kris Donald and Stephen Lawrence is an important one, it does ignore one crucial factor. Both Stephen Lawrence and Kris Donald got coverage when they were murdered, Kris Donald got about 3-4 days of coverage at the time. What made Stephen Lawrence stand out wasn't the fact it was a racist murder, but the fact that the police were found to be institutionally racist in handling the case. And whereas people have been charged over Kris Donald, the police failed to do anything over Stephen Lawrence. His black friend was treated very harshly by them, being seen as a suspect, not as a victim. From that emerged the McPherson report, which put the case through the media for a long time afterwards. Kris Donald, by contrast, though an equally, if not more, appalling and equally racist murder, was wrapped up relatively quickly.
Im sorry your right I will stay away from poetry in future, and in fact there were other things in the stephen lawrence case that may have given it more publicity the mcphearson report institutional racism in police force .
