do people like them? I dont. I just dont. heard this from a friend today sublime: we get it, your high.
i used to get really sick of sublime since i knew so many people back home who liked them. after not hearing it for so long, i decided to buy "40 oz. to freedom", and, maybe its just the good memories it brings back, but i find it to be really good music. the absolute perfect party music imo
I'm madly in love with Sublime...and yes many of their songs tend to get over played still...I don't even care though, like I can go without hearing "what I got" for a while but there's so many others. I love their entire style mixing ska, reggea, dub, etc...I think Bradley is an amazing improv performer...and I love how much he loves his dog...I just think they are great.
I can say that Sublime is one band that I will never get tired of. Their music brings back a lot of good memories and it never fails to put me in a great mood.
favorite. band. ever. you get it or you don't. for me, there isn't another artist besides maybe the dead (there are a lot of similarities between the two, believe it or not) that I feel absolutely nails what it's like to live. the good times and the bad. I could talk about sublime all day, but you either feel what brad's saying or you don't. i'm not going to try to convince you. if you think sublime is all about getting high then you haven't listened to sublime.
