Why do people add in LOL like some sort of singular laugh track? Do you think it is because of the psychological influence of sitcoms? Alright, so this is not the right forum to post this in. Sorry about that.

what the fuck smokindude? unless you've been living in a closet the last few years, you think you'd realize the impact of instant messaging on the world. 39, 49, 59 year olds are all using AIM. as soaring eagle said it is just like using the email, phone, etc to communicate. There is even a proliferation of it in the business world across naitonal offices. Although, soaring I think you ought to revert to smoke signals. Love the enlarged sig.
its hard to convey humor and sarcasm, through text, on a message board. the addition of "lol" acts as an indicator that a message is in jest.
