Highpoint of my summer was the "Our Way Home Reunion" of Vietnam war resisters and fellow travellers, held in July 2006 in Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada over a four day period. Rarely have I felt so welcomed and honoured. Performers and speakers included Buffy Saint Marie, Arun Gandhi, George McGovern, Michael Lerner, Country Joe McDonald, Tom Hayden and others. Warning: If you're all steamed up, do not post it over the internet! I did that by lipping off repeatedly to a Calgary Sun columnist (Ian Robinson) who called Vietnam war resisters "cowards... chickens, and... traitors" in print. Now I have a legal problem as a result. Whether the columnist deserves a good shitkicking or not is another matter. By the way ladies, I'm single and available. Let me know if you're in southeastern Alberta! All the best, dirtydog djbrown19@hotmail.com
Hey there, welcome to the hip forums. I used to live in Edmonton Alb. Lived there for a year, springtime in Edmonton used to love it, the sun stays out till midnight, it was a great experience. Thats some good advice you give there about not posting anything, I think I'll heed it! Thanks! Bustramp
Oooh, Atom bomb therapy, you are one photogenic lady. Too bad you're about half my age. But I don't know just why you describe yourself as '****' -- that sounds like a lack of self respect. I may not be a dirty dog. My beast friend Maximilian the husky is my constant companion. We have respect, understanding and love both ways, and the word 'dog' is not pejorative in my house.
Don't analyze it, doll. Its nothing to do with lack of self respect. <3 Its just what I'm holding. I mean nothing by the word. By the way, Maximillian the Husky is -beautiful-. Keep him close. You are sweet. Alicia
