We repainted our mailbox last week, and haven't put the numbers back on it yet... big deal. Anyway, the UPS man came by today while Noah was sleeping. First he honked his horn really loud like three times, and then kept ringing the doorbell until I came to the door, waking the baby up, of course.... Then he just kind of threw the package at me and said, "Food for thought (in his redneck retard accent): numbers on your mailbox make it a lot easier to find your house in an emergency or sumthin'. Make sure you tell your parents that, okay, kiddo?" He said something else, too, but I can't remember. Anyway, this guy just kind of verbally attacked me because my mailbox didn't have numbers on it. All the ones around us do, so it shouldn't be that hard..... And is a UPS delivery an emergency? Fuck you!

hahahappygirl, im sorry to hear that you put it together very hilariously though. that guy had no right be so rude to you. and also wake up your cute little baby. i had sort of an occasion like that (rude city worker)i was like 10, trying to get home and it was thundering rain, and i was taking the subway instead of walknig outside, and the guy was like, "where is your ID madam?" im like i dont have any. im 10 years old. he was like, "(in his stupid french accent) no you are not 10 yeerz olde. wheere eez yur ID pleaze?" i was begging him to just let me go saying that i only could pay the minimum fair. that basturd was like, "no ID - no minimum fair. no more money-no regular fair- no metro. good bye" and he slammed the window thing in my face and turned to work on the other side.i ws so sad and i had to walk home 10 blocks
He probably has a certain time to deliver everything. He also probably needs some sort of confirmation of what house it is by numbers, ya know? They probably have guidelines they have to follow. He didnt ahve to say that but he could have nicely maybe.
