if you were at work and saw a old man around 75 shoplifting? Today I was working and I looked over and saw this old guy putting packs of socks in his coat, I didnt know what to do, should i call him on it and possibly get him charged or just act like i didnt see anything. While i was trying to decide what i should do another employee caught him and threw him out of the store, I felt kinda bad for the guy i mean if your 75 and shoplifting socks you either are desperate or just got nothing better to do.
Asshole co-worker. They should just let him be. You can do anything you goddamn well like when you're 75. Maybe he did have something better to do. Maybe his old coot friends made him do it on a dare.
*giggles* this reminds me of that dane cook thing where he was talking about old people and how they can get away with anything. Security Guard: M'am, what do you think you're doin? Old Woman:*feeble voice* i'm....dying. I don't think i would have the heart to turn the guy in. As far as what's right, though... i don't think i would know.
that wasnt dane cook it was this other funny guy whose name escapes me at the moment. BUt i agree with him if i put in 75 years of life i'm stealing whatever the fuck i want, and if i want some socks damn it i'm taking socks, and if you dont like it you can kiss my 75 year old ass. I'm very passionate about the subject because the prospect of one day just stealing whatever i want is basically why i want to get old, that and so i can be some old stoner lady telling the local heads how it used to be so much better.
haha, dane cook = quite hilarious It all depends whether he had money or not, if he was an old poor guy, id let him be, but if he had money and he shoplifting just for kicks, id have to turn him in
yeah, i would just let him be... being able to do crazy shit when you're old is the only thing that keeps me going i can't wait to get old just for that reason alone, i'm gonna have some serious fun when i'm old i don't what i'll do if they start cracking down on old people...
I used to work at a seniors home and there was this one old lady who had really bad alzhimers and she'd go to Costco everyday and steal candy out of the bulk bins all day long (she's diabetic too!) She'd get so pissed everyday when we wouldn't give her dessert at dinner (we always knew she'd had a dangerous amount of sugar already).... you had to keep an eye on her because she'd try to steal desserts from other people at her table....
I wouldn't turn in anyone that I saw stealing.. especially if it was from a store. If someone was stealing from my friend or from me, I'd do something. -Mike
