right on man - I'm going solo, last minute thing. I had told a friend it wasn't in the cards for me this summer, then I was like - screw that, I NEED to see the boys. I'll be at willcall picking up my ticket around 5ish, red hair, read beard, glasses - ryan.

yeah if I didn't see the show I'm not sure I'd make it through the year man.

this is what keeps me sane and just barely at that

seeing The Dead is as helpful to me as a month on the beach

    gotta gotta gotta !!!!!

I've been living on the beach for two months - the boys revitalize my soul far more than this.

A friend of mine got to watch the soundcheck and go backstage last night for the Dead in Raleigh, NC. A year ago, he swore he would not go see them because it would be sacreligious (sp?) without Jerry...but he was walking on clouds today!

I made it, was just about everywhere. Great night, china>rider was scorching and to encore with morning dew was perfect.

Personally, I was very disappointed with the show. Last year's ATL show was alot better, IMHO. Plus there were 2 or 3 rainbows last year. Not that that had anything to do with the show, but it certainly did add to the feeling. It just seemed a little bland this year. The encore was the best part of the show, though I felt like someone else woulda done a better job singing morning dew.

Maybe I'm just too picky. :p

I tried to come in here and make my full analysis and critique of the show but my post got erased cuz my connecton timed out or something so I'm pretty pissed. But good show. A little too much Warren doing his own thing. I like the new songs written by Phil. I thought it very nice and sweet when the little girl came out during "A piece for you" and stood next to Bob and he patted her on the head. I'm thinking it was his daughter but either way it was very nice. Billy and Mickey were as tight as ever! I honestly believe that they are getting better with age!

I Know You Rider<<<and Brown Eyed Women<<<<<were particularly nice.

Oh and one more thing. He's Gone bled into GDTRFB buts not on the setlist for some reason. Warren added an extra verse about GA so that was kinda cool.
