I took a random picture of the moon when it was just the night after the huge harvest moon, last full moon before the winter solstice? Anywho right after I took the pic I looked at it in the viewfinder and saw the bright white dot near the centre. I looked straight up where the moon was and there was nothing but maybe 5 dim stars. It was a foggy night but there was no rain or snow.

So when I got home and looked at the pic on my pc I zoomed in to find that the dot was a pretty uniform circle with a dark centre like an eyeball. As I looked through the darkness I soon saw the image of the reptile like face just barley visible as if glowing, somehow present in the picture facing upwards as if in profile. Immediately I was shocked and assumed some sort of unnatural phenomenon. Keep in mind that the picture was taken straight up and the glowing full moon would have blocked out the stars. Taken on a cold night in a park, no flying bugs after the snow we had here lately. I took 5 pictures before this, one also of the moon and none of them captured any rain or snow or anything reflective and airborne at all. I put the pic through photoshop to adjust the brightness and contrast and the face really stood out. Take a look and tell me what you see. And please be kind, I’m trying to be objective.

I am sure that there was nothing visible above me when I took it. I doubt that my camera could view anything in outer space besides the moon because it is so bright. I posted it here to see if any of you had any idea (natural or paranormal) as to how THAT got in my picture. What kind of entity looks like this?

No flying bugs around guys, this was just a few days after that huge snowstorm that swept through the northeast states. We got a few inches of snow here.

Does anyone have a viable paranormal explanation? The face is there in the pic, but there was nothing physical above me I can be sure of this. How could it be so clear if it isn’t real?

Yea, it really looks like something strange, Ironcore. Why not capitalize on it before someone else does. There has to be some sort of photo contest or something that could win you some cash or something. Just alittle joking but it's really not a bad idea! I sure can't help you explain it. I'm still trying to find the pic of the face in the smoke from eruption of Mt St Helen. I can't explain that photo either but I know it was something.

It was a Kodak DC215 Digi cam. I am sure that I took the pic with a flash, so if there really was something there, it should have shown up clearly. Something physical like a leaf, bug or finger would be pretty clear. If you look at the original it is just barely there, almost like it is self illuminating. If you have photoshop, try putting the original through your own brightness/contrast adjustment and tell me if you see the same thing.

Soaringeagle, I believe that there must have been something there, physical or not, visible or not. It seems to me that whatever it was , it must have wanted to be captured. Interestingly enough, I took the pic because I wanted to capture something paranormal at the time and it just so happens that I got lucky. Unfortunately it has left me with an unsolvable mystery that I have created for myself.

Thanks for you support ~MMM~ and Dimensionreality, I was hoping that others would see it.

Interesting to say the least..but I don't think it's something supernatural or something like that.

Unfortunately, I do not have the fortune of being able to brush this off as a natural occurrence or hoax. I know that the face shouldn't be there, and yet it is and all too clearly to me. I wish that I could say 'Oh, probably just a bug or cloud, whatever' and not give this a second thought, but this is really something that I can't explain. Has anyone ever seen anything even close to this? It would be nice if one of you could put my mind to rest on the subject here. Telling me it is just a natural formation and it is just my brain that is making it look like a face probably won't help.

What do you think the light is refracting through? I could see the clear sky as I took the picture. I didn't adjust the brightness or contrast on the camera before taking the picture. I saw the face in the original, can’t you? I turned up the contrast 75% because it brought out the face the best for others to see. Scared me the most at that contrast setting too. Can’t explain the one time shot with lifelike image by random particles, clearly if others see it as well.
