how often do you wash your dreadlocks?(for one who has)

me. once or twice a week.

usualy once a week..i should twice a week but mines a 2 person job & dont got the energy..lol

 

Well, when im on the road, I wash em at least once a week, now its about twice.

I dont have a head full of dreads...just one "bongo dread"! I've had it for nine years....I wash it as regularly as I do the rest of my hair...about every other day

 

Ih only get one big dread, an I wash it up like ah wahwahbrush.

 

isnt washing your hair really about washing your scalp, like, the skin?
so yea, i suppose any kind of hairdo would require the same washing frequency

Once- depending. They stay wet FOREVER so I could say all week

ithink my dreads draggin on the grounds startin to take its toll on em..last few times i'd wash em i'd find like 3-6 inch chunks of dread floatin away..what a sad sight
i desperately need a hat that wont pop right off soi'm not constantly draggin em
