    Turn around,---
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
Can't you see that flash of fire ten times brighter than the day?
And behold a mighty city broken in the dust again,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.
    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
Babylon is laid to waste, Egypt's buried in her shame,
The mighty men are all beaten down, their kings are fallen in the ways,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.
    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
Terror is on every side, lo our leaders are dismayed.
For those who place their faith in fire, their faith in fire shall be
    repaid,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.
    Turn around,
    go back down,
    back the way you came,
And shout a warning unto the nation that the sword of God is raised.
Yes, Babylon, that mighty city, rich in treasures, wide in fame,
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.
The meek shall cause your tower to fall, make of you a pyre of flame,
Oh you who dwell on many waters, rich in treasures, wide in fame.
you bow unto your God of gold, your pride of might shall be a shame,
For only God can lead His people back unto the Earth again.
Oh God, Pride of Man, broken in the dust again.
A Holy mountain be restored, and mercy on that people, that people

QSMS are a fav of mine. Their music reflects a lot of the "idealism" of the times for me. Damn how sure we were that we would stop war and live as one.

I can't believe how few peeps who were around back then remember them. Mentioning Fresh Air stirs memories but thats about it. FA was an ok tune but far from their best. I'm listening to What You Gonna Do About Me right now. Except for the draft how real is the song today?

Last time I saw JC he was playing with the Dinsaurs. When I heard he had passed it was a very sad day.

Yes it was-I read his life story tonight at ALLMUSIC.COM- I was under the impression he died of heroin overdose-but it said emphesima-As far as the songs go-I downloaded -SILVER AND GOLD-and MONA and a few more-Theres a good one live from the Fillmore-The last time I saw them was down at the new Family Dog place down at the beach-Chet Helms had shut down the Avalon and he moved there for a little while-Jim was a fun player to watch-the guy looked like he weighed 100lbs and most of that was hair-and he always had on these big blue Navy p-coates-even if it was hot as hell in there-anyway he died young-44 I think and his music is great-let me know if you need a free source-
