on friday the 13th? haha any excuse to get drunk, right? and just fyi, i am sooo not a hippie, i just go on this site for lack of anything better to do. so there. i have been thinking about changin my last name. for real. and i love posting threads about shit nobody cares about.
i'm being a sober good girl these days... i did get high with my buddy josh though josh is the guy to go for good pot
I drank, it was nice... had some kids from a local band over and played guitar, smoked, and such. Nice night. Tonight is Oct. 14th, a Satrday... which is not necessarily an excuse to party, but party I shall.
Yeah, except when your body decides to rebel and uses the consumption of one or two beers as a trigger for blinding headaches!
Not sure it is strictly age related. I kinda threw some things out of balance over 3 years ago when, in an attempt to clean my act up physically I abruptly stopped drinking coffee among some other things. I immediately started getting moderately severe headaches on a regular basis. The incidence has abated quite a bit but alcohol seems to be a sure trigger.
13 is i think, must be, a christer thing, and i'm not a christer, so to me, 13 is just another number, and as fine a one as any number can or might be. i think judas iscarot must have been a baker because while a dozzen eggs is 12, 13 used to be refered to as 'a baker's dozzen'. although the point of a baker's dozzen being that langniap is good for bussiness. mostly what others concern themselves to be bad luck is often lucky for me, if perhapse only because i'm not looking for misfortune and thus not stumbling into the same self-fullfilling prophesies as the self-ritious by association herd often endulges in grumbling and making excuses about. and as predictable, it was in no way, any more good, bad or indifferent, as any other day. friday; fria's day. was there something about fria midevil christianity wished to discredit or cast derisiveness on? i don't know for certain, but just as a guess there well might have been. =^^= .../\...
The baker's dozen came into being because caution drove bakers to make one extra loaf or hot cross bun or whatever they were making.. I've not seen anything that explains why 13 is such a supersticious number! Even the 13th Disciple being politely asked to leave (You're BARRED!) doesn't really say why it fills us with such dread..
