someone will get a kick out of this - gas station problem

so i'm at the gas station and i went to select debit so i could use my card. so i insert my card and remove. it tells me it didn't read and insert the card again. so i do this multiple times. so i said fuck the card and went inside with $20.

so now i'm pumping the gas and trying to figure out why it wasn't working because they said it was operating. yea, so i looked at the directions and i saw that i inserted the card the wrong way. yea, i felt pretty stupid

well, that hasn't been the only time i've done that mistake....

actually, its over 10 times doing the same exact thing. numerous times at the same pump too.

So what your saying is that you put your card in the wrong way?

 

yea....the black strip on the back of the card is supposed to be facing away from my right hand, but i had it the other way around. and when i tried to access my card it kept on saying "please insert card again"

so i put the card back in and remove and the same message comes up. eventually it just tells you to go to the gas attendant. and thats what i had to do

 

Haha! This story would have been better if you bitched at the attendant 'cause the credit card thingy never works!

 

ive done that before....its just easy to pay in cash and get out as quickly as can be after that happens. especially if the station is full with cars waiting
