So, anyone want to share some stories of the dreams brought on by opiates? Please, no dreams about taking them, Im talking about the dreams induced by them. I have had, let's see, about a million, so I will breifly lay one out now, upgrade it later when Im not working.

So last night I take 6 vicodin and 3 percocets, and I was playing Fight Night Round 3 until about 2:30AM. Anyhow, I could feel the certain specific buzz coming on in my head where I knew the dreams would come very easily and unprovoked. I went any lay down on the couch, made it all confortable and had the windows open, listening to a slight thunderstorm, feeling the wind blow in and imaging the rain outside. My trick to bringing on the most intense dreams is to fall asleep on my back, with my head only slightly propped up on a pillow. I noticed that the majority of the dreams I've had were very similar to sleep paralysis epsidoes, of which I experience about twice a month. OK, so I leave the TV on with only a slight amount of volume, just enough so that I can have some soft background noise, and I usually do this, as for me it is like when a diver goes swimming deep in the ocean and has a rope to get pulled back in the event of an emergencey, the TV is my rope because when I go into the sleep paralysis I find it very difficult to snap out of it as it can get pretty intense. SO this dream I had last night was very much like my others, I remember being at a very strange house, a semi-party was going on, and I was sitting on a bed. A lot of people were coming and going that I have not thought about in years, and they all looked strangley different than I remember them. One of my old dealers that got busted with LBS. worth of herb about 3 years ago came up and started talking to me, but did not know who I was. This is about the time when I noticed I could not move at all, and it was a struggle to even speak. Well, I the rest of the actual dream I will have to type at you all later, but I do rememer eventually getting up and trying to walk through this house and it was extremely dark although no on else seemed to have a problem getting through it. Then I came upon a wall in one of the rooms and it was my window of my apartment in this room, and I saw my upstairs neighbors out side having a smoke.

I woke up and could not move, I heard the TV and I heard the neighbors outside talking very loudly. I was staring at the ceiling, and started drifting right back into the same dream, and that's when I had a small anxiety attack. I eventually pulled my body to sit up, and I still heard the talking, went over to the window and said hi to the kids. Then I grabbed my coat and a pack of Newports, glanced at the time and saw it was 2:45, so only about 3 minutes had gone by since I first layed down. I went out to talk to the kids and nobody was there, they're lights were off in the apartment, and it was dead silent, save for the rolling thunder and the rain.

Edit. - I remember also, when I got up to walk around the party, I felt like I was in some sort of anti-gravity chamber, and could not control how I moved, I would sort of float into a wall, bounce off it and hit the ceiling. I would get afraid of not being able to come back to the floor, but then I would bounce right back down, then over to another wall, into people, all the while the people were like what the fuck is wrong with you? Why cant you stay still? hahaha I've had another sleep paralysis moment where I wasnt really in a dream, I was sleeping on a freinds floor with the lights on, and I got up to get a drink and the same thing happened. When I eventually got back to my spot, I woke up and sat up and saw that things were knocked over all over this kids house.
And another I woke up once, fell asleep listening to The Lamb Lyes Down On Broadway by Genesis, and took a huge sip of whiskey from a bottle on the floor by my couch, then layed back down, lol woke up and there was no bottle in sight, but I was feeling very drunk and could taste the whiskey in my mouth. I'm noticing some kind of freak hallucination pattern here ;)And these dreams are not always caused by opiates, they just make them MUCH darker and much more profound.

iv also experienced nightmares from using opiates.

for me they always occur only about 1.5 hours after going to sleep, and then the rest of the night is fine. but anyway just last night, i dreamt i was sitting in the yard at like 2am with my best friend smoking until we were like "more than tripping", and im like lets get out of this yard, so i kinda looked around and i cant remember shit now, but he was gone, and i was making lots of noise, and suddenly i was flying over the house but i couldnt fly very well and i was clipping the roof and getting panicky about waking the parents, and i was walking everywhere round the yard and somhow i was naked and at one point trying to climb a fence and my dad was up in the house and somhow now i was in their wardrobe and suddenly things fell down from the wardrobe and made noises and boom just before they came in i woke up, but the wardrobe was pitch black. and it was soo much more complex and freaky. but i guess this stems from me sneaking out late at night to smoke weed. but it had a nightmarish theme the whole time, i mean scared shitless.

and this happened not last night the night before..

a fucking shadow bird grabbed me by the side of the head and carried me onto the gutter of a house and it was jabbing at my head and everything around was completly crazy. doesnt sound to scary but im still scared.

but its strange, i feel really lost this last couple of days like adrift from reality. iv been thinking its the fucking tea, iv done alot of tea. but iv stopped since the other day, and i did like 3 e's on saturday and like 2.5 on monday and now its thursday, and did like a total of 11 in under 2 weeks so maybe thats it,t i hate it, iv been at home the last 2 days, too scared to smoke weed or drink and tea, because i just feel so detached i just want to return to realty. iv slept lots both days, but i have this nightmarish feeling still, im scared right now. bah, its all fun and games until you feel like your loosing it, its these few days that make me quesiton whether i want to ever do lsd, what if i was trapped feeling as detached as i am now. arhh. now i see how people kill themselves, if you felt this insane for a period of a couple of months id kill myself, but i guess its good to see it through this perspective. only for a few days i guess. ah i hate ramblings to come to no conclusion, like this. arh, how can i conclude this sentence. well i guess i best be off...

Eh, you get used to the insainty lol. I actually embrace it every time I drink tea or trip. Great stories BTW, I have had a few that were VERY strange, like once on 80mg of percocet, I had a dream that my sister parked her car out front of my apartment, and when I went outside for a smoke to talk to her, I leaned on the hood of her car, then felt myself being pulled into the engine, and I traveled backwards through the entire inner workings of the car, only to be sucked out of the back left tire in a manner of being birthed. It felt like I was reborn! In the most strange manner possible... :) I got plenty more to share when Im not at work ;)

I almost ALWAYS have nightmares when I take oxy. Bad nightmares too, like much worse than any I've ever had before. It seems to only be with oxy though, never have them with codeine or morphine.
