Hell ya we can. My birthday was yesterday and I am dying to talk clothes. What did you get? From my mom I got-personalized licene plates (hound (heart)r), chesnut uggs and a starbucks certificate. And las week I got a shopbop.com gift certificate so I got the c and c california tank dress in hamster brown, ugg cleaner and collette malouf bracelet and a black juicy couture sweatsuit (the one withthe heart on the ass). I got a jcrew gift certificate so this morning I ordered a black see through tee-shirt and a cami to go underneath and than I got a pretty big gap certificate that I am spending tommorow yay! birthdays rock.

i would never be caught in something so trendy. my friend had them long before they became the IT shoe...i thought they were really cute but they got way too main stream and annoying, like the juicy suits.

 

Very interesting...yesterday i bought a pack of cigarettes, then later ordered a pizza....today I used travelocity to rent a car...tomorrow i have a feeling i will need to buy some gas for it.

I had to pay for tuition last week): and it was raised 30 percent and m,y permit alone was almost 200 bucks...yeah it sucked.

I got my first pair of uggs when I was 6 and have several pairs and I was wearing juicy suits before the j zipper pull.I am really tall so they are the only sweats where the inseam is long enough. I wear what is comfy and flattering and could give a shit if it is percieved as trendy. I wear enough unknown designers that I know I am supporting indie fashion.

I took some pictures today, folded some laundry, mailed some letters, washed my floors upstairs and down, vacuumed, dusted, made lunch, talked to my Husband on the phone for a couple minutes and played on my computer. All this before 2:00 this afternoon. (I was up at 7:00)

Ha Ha. Yes I do. I love to take pictures. I have a huge portfolio of thousands of pictures. Me, the boys, the dog, airplanes, my Husband, family, friends.

I find can find beauty just about everywhere and anywhere...

 

ya i get what youre saying,
its all about comfort for me too...and finding great buys that are unique and fun to put together with other outfits.

there are just so many girls that wear the trendy items, like uggs and juicy just bc its what everyone else is wearing, not that you are...its just what came to mind when i read what you wrote.

My mom got me the most gorgeous card too of a william morris print. I am going to frame it.
Something bothered me though at work everyone signed a card with little happy thoughts but my aide just signed his name, no happy birthday or anything just his name. Isn't that strange?

Happy late birthday Lynsey! Your gifts sound awesome but I'm jealous! I really want a pair of tan Uggs but so many people have them now and I know I would only wear them once or twice before I got tired of them. Plus I just spend about 3 days searching for the pink and black checked Vans in my size so no more shor shopping for me for awhile. Juicy is awesome. I mainly just buy their shirts because they fit so well and the fabric is really high quality. I'm really excited because I'm going shopping on Saturday at a mall that is out of town. I love it when the new fall clothes come out! And I can't wait to buy one of those cute fitted tweed blazer jackets!

 

oh you lucky skinny girl, I tried the mj one on the other day and it made me look like a cow. I envy those who look good in tweed. I need to stop shopping, I just got all my credit cards paid of last month and already have more on them than I can pay off this month. I just started a new job about six months ago and it is my first one with a 'grown-up' salary but I have less in my savings than before I started because I took it as a lincense to shop. errghhh
