Why does my housemate have to have such superficial friends?

It would be nice to be able walk through my house and get a beer without having to explain to people that I don't like football.

I could not relate to these people if i tried. I have spoken to some of them individually, and they are good blokes, but once they get in a group, they stop making sense, they become more like apes.

i just don't get why people will crowd around the tv to watch men kicking a ball around, it's not fun. i'd rather be outside, enjoying the scenery and contemplating life. hahaha and studying... of course.

i recommend finding a new housemate, or changing accomodation. he's not going to change, and you're not going to change either! probably not good for either of you... in fact, why did you decide to do this in the first place?
