So The Pedophile Folley Has Ducked Into Treatment

In an effort to avoid proecution for soliciting minor boys ;the Republican Senator Mark Foley is using alcohol as an excuse for his bad behaviour-He is hiding behind AA!-Amazing-He can;t cop to his sexual sickness so he takes the" I am an alcoholic and not responible for what I did"-route-He even says he was drunk when he was sending smut emails to kids-And he is in charge of a group that was supposed to monitor and clean up the internet sex junk-He was putting people away then turning into a closet pedophile at night -I am an alcoholic (sober 5 years) and I don;t like people using AA to try to get out of a jam-If he really was an honest AA member then he would know that the steps only work if your honest-He got caught and to dive into treatment overnight is a joke-Why didn;t he do it last year?-Cuz he was getting away with hustling the young boy last year--Republicans just cannot be trusted-Foley sucks! (sorry-) lol-

I don't think he'll avoid prosecution. I think he been put where he is to avoid the media. Election day is 4 weeks & they don't want him on TV.

Since some of the text messages took place during active sessions of congress where votes were being taken was his judgement impaired in the execution of his congressional duties as well? If alcoholism is going to be used to justify abherrent behavior because ones' judgement is impaired then there should be a strict prohibition on anyone taking on governmental responsibilities since booze has such a profound effect on personal judgement that it is used to mitigate the actions of a pedophile.

What was wild was to watch the whole thing spin since the news first broke. First it was Foley sending emails to a single boy, then Foley did two things. He A. checked into a rehab
B. came out of the closet. This spin was a shameless attempt to take the blame away from Foley by scapegoating bnot only alcoholism,but being gay-because as we know, to a Republican that's an evil thing to do.
Phase two was more dramatic. Now the whole thing was deflected int the news to 2 different, but related stories: The failure of Dennis Hastert to do anything about warnings from other congressmen about Foley's perversion as well as stories on nightly news about sex with pages in general. During this part of the Foley situation, he was rarely seen or pictured. Dennis Hastert's face was plastered all over the place though.
Next we have Foley still not taking responsibility for the errors of his ways. He decided instead that he could use the old "blame the clergyman" defense.

Let's not forget tht in phase three of this spinning top of a scandal the focus was shifted from the crime that Foley had allegedly comitted and instead to how the Democrats were salivating at the mouth at the opportunity for Republicans to look bad. To Democrats and Republicans alike-
I please ask that you stop bickering about your differences and trying to one up each other and spend some time listening to what the people who live in this country, who aren't politically well connected because of birthright wealth, want and feel should be done with their lives. If this is how you spend your time on Capitol Hill, we should install a playpen.

Furthermore, Foley has been justifying this by saying it was a mistake and he's sorry, but he's not a pedophile becasue he never had sexual contact with a minor.
Now here's the crazy part...
Has he been arrested and taken from rehab yet?
No
Has he been forced by the courts to appear for arraignment?
No
Have there intentionally been efforts to cover this up and lie to the American people once again?
