"i put no stock in religion. By the word religion i have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. Holyness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those that cannot defend themselves. In goodness. What god desires is here[the mind] and here[the heart]. And what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man. Or not." Occam
Yes..so many excellent moments in this movie... Balian "That way leads to certain death" Hospitaler "All death is certain." Occam
that does sound like a good one. "all death is certain" indeed. whatever else it might be might not be, but, not having seen it, i can sort of picture that in my mind. if you take the risk of being decent and considerate you will surely die. and if you don't you will still surely die. so if i'm going to die anyway, why shouldn't i live in such a way that i can die unashaimed of living? i don't know. none of that may have anything to do with what you're talking about that i haven't seen. but i love what i'm seeing in what is being quoted so far of it. =^^= .../\...
Please themnax..find a way to watch it...it is Well i would say the best movie i have ever seen.. but cassablanca and the matrix vie with it from arenas unconnected. Occam is still too young and ignorant to decide on that one. It just ''sits so well" with reality... and with 10 out of 10 for acting. But of all the characters in movies occam has 'empathised with' Balian is the one. His path of rational morality is flawless. Occam wanted to BE him. Occam
"convert to islam! repent later!" "you have taught me much about religion father..." but all quotes aside, yes, KOH is an excellent movie.
