OK, I bought 1gram of 20x extract from SalviaWholesale.com and tried it last night to no avail. I tried it in my friend's water bong which works for weed, but sadly the salvia had no effect whatsoever. I took one huge hit and held it for like 30 seconds, then I exhaled and nothing happened. I did feel a little different, but I definitely wasn't tripping. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? I'm using a standard Bic lighter if that makes a difference. I tried smoking basically the same way as weed though.
just my $0.02 ..get a butane lighter packthe bong.. take a huge rippin toke in hold it for like 30 seconds... again BUTANE it burns hot enough to do something to the chemical.. let us know how it works out.. oh and if it dosent work ..wait like an hour to try again it builds up and you can risk just wasting it .. have fun
Hey vesper.. last year my roomate had the same problem. We had 20x and everyone that tried it tripped their face off, but this one friend of mine would take rips bigger than anyone, hold them in longer, and then take one or two more.... nothing ever happened for him besides a little closed eye visuals. We had no idea what was wrong. He tried this on multiple occasions too, every time he did everything right and every time nothing really happened. Very weird, but apparently it's possible. I mean, the same guy had done just fine with boomers and sids before, so we really had no idea what to do. I'd say try it again... maybe the 20x was bogus and it was just leaves. Good luck. -Mike
Interesting. I have heard of this before.. I'm wondering if it is quality stuff? 20x is supposted to be a really strong extract that makes you go into your own little "Salvia Land". Try it a couple more times, the reverse tollerance might make you more sensative to the drug...
Some "salvia hard-heads" find they can break through if they combine chewing with smoking ie you make a quid, chew it for half an hour, spit it out, then have a toke....
Same thing happened to me, I smoked an entire bowl of 20x extract with only a slight odd feeling. It was kind of funny though, I had a fleeting idea that I was a doctor in an emergency room, then I felt like I was a teacher, then I felt like I was a little kid in a ball pit that was getting deeper like a trampoline. They were just feelings though. Interesting, for sure, makes me want to attempt again.
