    hi :)

does anyone of you know if theres an oriental jam band out there? i would to love to here some. it probably would fit pretty well, since oriental/eastern music is pretty much based on improvisations, i love those oriental modes, and mixed up with some nice guitar playing/bass and so on would just be incredible.

    thanks
    bye

well you answered your own question. 90% of that music lives in the improv world.

Erol, off the top of my head, check out Fareed Haque at www.fareed.com
Subcontinent classical meets filmi meets jazz meets psychedelic.
    Great guy, too.
