Green Dragon

anybody try this? i wanna do it but it seems like a waste of weed. i know its not but, i just feel like i'm waisting it. is it good? is it strong? get at me. for anyone wondering Green Dragon is Everclear steaped with alot of trees for about 3 weeks, and you aint posed to take it to the neck str8. 1 part Dragon 3 parts 7up or whatever ya like.

everclear is far from vodka, easy e filed a lawsuit against the company that makes it because he nearly died from alchohol poisioning

that shit is so fuckin nasty if your actually gonna do it i'd say do it with a good vodka like grey goose or belvedere

dudes right, to steap all the thc out of the dank you need a high alcohol percentage. thats why people use Everclear. if I could do it wih Grey Goose I definatly would.

 

Nesta knows a lot about making thc booze but i haven't seen him on the MJ forums lately. I don't think you need that high of alcohol percentage. 80 proof vodka ought to work it might take a bit longer than grain alcohol but ought to be more pleasureable in the end.

 

If you're leaving it for 2-3 weeks, you do NOT need a high percentage of alcohol. After a while, all it's doing is sucking the chlorophyll out of the weed.
A lot of people think you need a higher percentage because "The stronger the alcohol, the greener it gets." THC is not green. THC is sticky. Alcohol seperates it from the actual plant matter. Strong alcohol sucks out chlorophyll, that's the only reason stronger alcohol turns out a brighter/deeper green colour.

Sure can.
If you soak it in isopropanol alcohol (higher percentage works faster, we're talking 10-15 minutes) and then put it in a pyrex dish and heat it up (NOT boiling) to evaporate all of the alcohol, you get oil. You can use weed, shake, roach papers, pipes/bongs/scissors, just about anything that already has THC or collects resin. We usually do it with shake when we have friends that grow and don't have much reason to make oil, since they're already growing their own weed.

 

if you extract by just soaking it in iso alcohol for 10-15 mins depending on the quality of the buds used would you get more oil? say i used 7 grams of dank, could i expect a higher yield than with 7 grams of reggie? seems like a dumb question

To answer your originial question about shake Tarabelle, yes you could use shake in a bottle of vodka or gin or rum etc to make a thc drink.

 

You MIGHT notice a tiny difference of how much oil you get depending on the quality, but generally, the quality of the weed determines the quality of the oil.

Examples.
We used 2oz. of shake to make oil. It came out hard and black and it was really harsh, tasted like fish, etc. A friend made oil with shake and it tasted like smoking Vicks or something, didn't get me very high, pretty much just got me high for about 15 minutes before I was burnt out with a bad migraine.
My cousin used some really good weed and made honey oil. It was gold-coloured, runny (looked kinda like gold blood, haha) and when I took the first hoot, I didn't think I got much of it because I didn't feel it at all... so he gave me a HUGE one, and it literally knocked me on my ass for at least 4-5 hours... and that doesn't happen often any more, for me.
