Bagelhole.org is a whimsical name for a non-profit, non commercial site to help individuals and communities move towards self-sustainability, self-reliance, and autonomy. It is a nexus point for communities, appropiate technology, and those who wish to volunteer at communities to meet in mutual cooperation, and share information, ideas, and projects to make living in harmony with nature and one another a reality. To build the vision we long for now. To move the intentional communities and sustainability movements towards full realization. This is a participatory site, where you can both take and give. Just as many communities are dependent on volunteers, this site is dependent on your participation and contributions (videos, articles, texts, pictures). So far, we have not received the participation that is necessary to make this site effective in reaching its goals: building a world wide low-tech (mostly), self-sustainable infrastructure to hedge against financial collapse, disasters, dependence on governments and corporations, and wars and to build the world we want now while the current one teeters and totters, clutches and gasps, in its toxins, inequities, and power struggles. This is a clarion call, a shout, to let you know that we exist, that we are us, that we are asking you to come and share, let others know about your successes, your failures too. Lets use the internet, lets make the know-how free and available. We want your videos, photos, and text about your communities and your sustainable projects. We have just added this feature to the site. So now you can send videos! Video your projects from start to finish and share them with the world. Please.
