More than once and under various conditions. There is no single feeling to cover it. Accidents, murders, suicides ect all bring about thier own emotions. When I was a teen holding a girl whose throat was crushed in a car accident dying, knowing there was nothing I could do but hold her till she died is a feeling I hope someday will go away but it comes around to haunt me. Imagine a stranger being the last person you see as you fade away just holding ya. Wish I knew her, maybe it would have been more of a comfort to her, unsure. Well shit Im officially bummed out.
i saw a boat explode propelling 2 people right through the cabin ceiling.. i knew right away the 1 had died.. i was maybe 13 at the time.. i think it caused a kind of shock...
I saw my great uncle die while on his morning walk when I was three me and my grandma were in my house, and we saw him from the window and I remember my grandma "look Adam, wave at Uncle Frank" and I remmeber him falling over and the rest is quite unclear I saw this old guy have a heart attack while riding his bike I don't know if he lived I saw this guy in a car accident die but he didn't actually die until the hospital, so technically I only saw him get injured for my great uncle, I was quite traumatized at first, all worried and sad, but I am very adaptive, and now death is pretty numb feeling
^ew the 1st time i seen someone die i was in 6th grade & he got shot in the head. over the years i seen a lot of people get shot but that was the worst i think because i was so young.
you are 1 whos seen far too much death in far too few years you really gotta get outta there but when u told me about that 1..it affected me heavily too..theres just some things u hope u never witness
I have, several times. Murder, suicide, and natural disasters. It didn't make my life any prettier, that's for sure.
My one older friend & I was at a party 10 yrs ago. Someone there all drunk had a revolver style gun & put one bullet in it. He started do russion rollete and pointing it at my friend (which is one crazy motherfucker). After warning him not to do it & him pulling the trigger 3 times, my fiend got upset and went to his truck for his shotgun. My friend made sure he saw the shotgun & warned him again. Well he did it one more time & my friend put his shotgun up, pulled the trigger & blew the guys head into pieces. The most horrifing sights I've ever seen in my life. So my friend gets picked by the cops. He's now spending 12-24 yrs. in jail for 3rd degree murder.
i saw a guy die at a movie house, they stopped the film, and the paramedics, keep padleing him till they just called it quits, wasn't very emotional i was kind of far away
I seen two people get stabbed in the chest as a kid, once a guy was getting in a fight with his girlfriend, and he hit her, and she picked up a buck knife from the dresser and buried it right in his heart. He bled out in just a few minutes, nothing anyone could do. shocked us all, cuz it just happened so quick. The other time two guys got into it in a bar, one guy was beatin the other up. the guy left, and came back with a piece of 2x4. He tried to hit the guy that had beat him up, and the other guy pulled out a big hunting knife and stabbed him in the chest, and yanked the knife out. Blood shot 4 feet out of his chest, and he fell back on the floor, and the blood was pumpin up in the air, and it got less and less over the course of a minute or so, and then it just stopped. He was a friend of mines older brother. I was shocked, at about ten yrs old. (I spent a lot of time in bars as a kid) Another time a guy I had become fairly good friends with got in an argument with me, and blew his brains out right in front of me. Then I found out later he was gonna kill me, my wife, and my kids two weeks before. He was obsessed with us somehow, and he was a drug addict, and he just had issues. It still haunts me. We read about the other stuff in his journal. The ramblings of an insane mind... I think about it every day. Is that the kind of gruesome detail you wanted to hear? I don't think it gets easier. you are either permanantly scarred or you ain't. Just depends on your personality I guess.
Lost another good friend givin him CPR. He suffered a massive heart attack, and died regardless of our efforts. saw a guy shot point blank in the face and neck ten times, thought surely he was dead, but he lived believe it or not. It was a .22 not that that makes any difference.
