When a kid whom you thought of highly starts to look down on you, When his friends start feeling the same way, When respect gets replaced by hate, You'd look back with regret and at that tiny speck of a moment Feel like trash When you find out you are not worth the wait Or what you have been waiting for isn't there Or that the only thing you both have is simply the wait and nothing more trash Why did I even bother going there when I knew that would've happened? Was telling an objective truth without an intention to cause pain a sin? It really does hurt When you find out you're better off with rats Now if I'm trash, am I biodegradable or non? Can I still be recycled? But even if I am, A recycled material is still trash Beleive it or not I am sill looking forward to eating pizza with you Watch horror movies beside you Talk countless nothingness on the phone Of course since I am looking forward to it It won't happen Thank goodness this all happens at a tiny speck of a moment Anything more I could've been dead
Wow, this poem has a lot of strong emotions in it. I remember feeling that way when ostracized by so called friends. I like this poem because there is a piece of you in it. Peace and love
yes, indeed, you express ostracizm well.....reminds me of all those rich liberal arts college kids who disrespected me for becoming peaceful.
