Yoo guys have people hear heard of STS9 (soundtribe sector 9)? I just saw my third show of theirs and they are playing like they are possessed. I encourage anyone to see them live there on some crazy shit right now.

love Zac's work, enjoy the band, but Signal Path gets the vibe going harder. (maybe it's simply personalities? STS9 are overall better musicians, but SP has more heart)

live is the only way to go. studio work is drab and lifeless comparatively.

    not to my ears.
live is THE way to go.
Sure, I get albums to support, but they basically gather dust.

are you talking about STS9 albums or studio work in general. I agree that studio STS9 is nothing compared to live, but there are a lot of bands where I do enjoy studio work. I do belive that live is incomarable with studio, but its interesting to hear what a band does in the studio environment. Trying to emulate a live show never works but when a band takes advantage of the studio they can create some good material.

i find that alot of the time i switch back in forth between studio and live depending on my mood. They both have there perks. but as far as goin to an acual concert...nothing compares.
