Hear hear, he's the closest thing to an angel on the planet earth. Plus he's a really cool dude. Reverend... those places kick my places' ass... Where is that?
Of course, Yes as a whole changed the way I listen to music, along with the Dead. They're probably the most talented band to ever exist in rock music. Close to the Edge on acid was probably the greatest thing in the world... another kid couldn't handle it so they had to turn it off, though.. first time listening to it...
Relayer was also a very good trip for me as well... a lot more insane as opposed to enlightening(not really enlightenment, just felt that way during the song) but it was still awesome. Basically, Jon Anderson did acid, so he knew how to do it.
I hear ya, Relayer is nuts, but Gates is a masterpeice of music all exploding in your head. I love Tales too, although that is the weirdest for most people.

Yes I love Tales as well, they've got a couple of repetitive moments on that album but its still amazing. Basically, their musicianship is so amazing that it overwhelms a lot of people and they don't really get it or want to get it. And those people suck. I could listen to Awaken a thousand times in a row.
Truman is the man. Damn straight. I think we'd better stop talking about Yes so much though we've kind of hijacked the thread, haha. Animal-
