I dreamed that I was watching television, and there was a show called "My Mother, The Whore." People competed to see who could earn the most money by sending their mothers out to work as prostitutes. A friend of mine was watching television with me (something the two of us have never done in real, waking life) and he insisted that I tell him which one of our mothers would make more money this way. I got very upset with him and said I didn't think either of us would make much money (our mothers are both quite old and in bad shape) and that I didn't want to have this discussion.
98.99 % of all tv shows this days are bullshit . only the = History channel were it show americans with real guts or PBS. AND the BBC as far news goes at lest they show news the americans news wont bother to show becouse is closer to the thruth . comedy wise you might as well watch reruns of shows made in the last 40+ years. just like we lost the ability to make great music 60s 70s. now we have lost the same with TV shows. and movies we only pump out a few good ones out in the last 10 years .
90and some odd percent of everything on television has always been crap as long as there has been television. commercial broadcast televison that is, including a good bit more then half of what is on cable now. i remember there used to be a 'sitcom' called "my mother the car" that was just about as crappy cheezy cleche'd as that sounds. i would thing the point of the dream though, rather then having much to do with the state of the nation or of corporate media, well maybe the latter a little bit, was about there being much more meaningful and interesting things about older women then the question of their potential for gratifying sex. possibly even raising the point, that while perhaps less 'driven' there might even be other things more interestingly gratifying THEN sex. NOT as a 'moral' judgement at all, but purely as a matter of real and actual gratification! =^^= .../\...
The meaning of your dream probably, I feel, concerns a business venture, which one one is willing to prostitute themselves for, which one you will compromise your ethics and morals for. So you could go into business and then find that you do not have the stomach to cheat people out of them money, sell them things that they really don't need, etc.
