last december i had the most realist dream a person could have and woke up thinking it was real...then later that day learned it wasnt. those dreams are the most rawest feeling thing a person can feel/dream.

Most of my dreams are that real... I usually realize that its a dream about thirty seconds or less after I wake up, however, but it does leave me thinking very hard for the entire morning.

Do you think those dreams may have more meaning and be trying to tell you something? I often think that.

All dreams have a meaning. They all stem from your subconscious, fears, desires, insecurities, etcetera. They are very far from literal or easy to decipher, though.

all the little nuances that tell you where you are and what you are doing, i've looked for and found them within my dreams. pinching myself did not wake me up, and all the tactile textures, smells, reflections and read outs were perfectly real. and this is not unusual for me at all. i'd bring back maps and bus schedules to prove it if there were some way to bring them past the sleep/waking interface.

and some of the strainge coinage i've found in my pockets when i was places in them that used currency. one of these is the fasa. a small plastic disk, about the size of a small tiddly wink only transparent with the word fasa on it. then there's a larger odd shaped piece of still flat but slightly thincker plastic about the size of your palm or slightly larger. i don't recall the name from a dream but just now it occurs to me this is called a hand.

i remember one time buying an intercity bus ticket with folding (i.e. 'paper' currency) that was indeed printed mostly in green but with no human faces or greek architecture on it anywhere. it may have had animals and gardens on one side of it and small cottages or trains on the other.

but feeling the grain of aged rough timber and just KNOWING i had to absolutely actualy BE there, that's how it was in this place where a bunch of us got togather and i remember having teleported there accross a continent and an ocean to be with the rest of us in this place that turned out to be a coffee and pizza place with a meeting room in the back where a model train club had a planning and meeting room off to the side of the main back room which also held their layout.

about half the time i'm walking arround out in the woods on the trail between a rather small town and the very small place where i live in out there. kind of a little cabin built half-way into the side of a hill.

these kind-of dreams get you, im telling you.
it sad because everything is real and if its a good dream you WANT it to be real, then you wake and find out, its only a dream.

but then you always have it in your memory so you'll always have it :]

Sometimes dreams are all I've got to keep me sane...not much going on in real life.

I had a romantic/sexual dream the other night..it was kinda nice, especially when nothing in that department is going on in real life...

The worse, for me, is when I have a re-occuring dream, usually spaced many months or many years apart where supposedly I "know" that I have killed someone. And while I am having the dream I am convinced of its validity, that I feel that I have killed someone in real life. When I wake up I am convinced that I have killed someone. It usually takes me at least 5 minutes to convince myself that I have in actually not killed anyone.

As a warning dream it may mean that my actions will likely hurt someone so I try to keep my yap shut, I lay low, I try not to get into fights, I won't say anything bad about someone, etc.

The other very distrubing type of dream is where I am convinced that I have had sex with a sister or two. That is very distrubing as I would never look at my sisters in that way. I try to convince myself that it means that I am looking for someone whom I can trust completely, who I can be completely honest and open with, and that my dreaming of my sisters mean that I will soon meet that type of person in real life. But after it is all said and done I ask myself if I really do want to meet that type of woman or lover where I treat them like a sister. In real life I would rather have a whorish type of woman than a sister type of lover. When I wake up the lingering feelings of guilt wash over me. But while I am in the dream I am convinced that I have had sex with a sister.

Those two types of dreams I can certaintly do without.

At least when I dream of an ex-wife it means that I will soon meet a wife material woman. If I dream of a certain ex-lover I know that I will soon meet a woman who reminds me of her, who is the type of woman that I want in my life. Then I try to be aware of every woman around me, those that I meet at the supermarket, etc.

I think everything lies in our minds, and when we die, we'll all be either completely seperated, or totally unified. But that's a baseless theory.

when i was younger i would have dreams like that a lot and i'd tell my mom about what i did yesterday or something, but later on i'd remember it was in a dream and i didn't really do it.

rocks, trees, little furry creatures with big sharp teeth, and even our own artifacts, are "all arround us" too!

i really don't think human people, or relationships with them, are any more special or big of a deal, then the reast of the infinite diversity of other aspects of existence.

and most of these other things are more peaceful and less disturbing, because of being less coercive, certainly less verbaly and otherwise manipulative.
