i'd like to travel to latin america to teach english for three months for the purpose of learning spanish. but where should i go? Costa rica looks very nice, but i have a feeling that it isnt "ethnic" enough and its too much of a tourist trap. Chile sounds nice, but i read about their culture and all the formalities involved in meeting people and it makes it sound less appealing. I want a place thats very rural and somewhat poor. any ideas? i'm still thinking about costa rica...

I'm from Argentina. I think PerĂº and Bolivia are really nice places to visit! (I want to go, too).
