15 minutes???? OMG! It took me four+ hours to be able to move...My legs were so numb after birth from the epidural, I could barely move!

    Thanks, everyone!
I didn't have a constant epidural because I was already so far along and they give me a healthy dose of pitocin which made everything move that much faster. So, just a few minutes after the doc pulled out my placenta, I was up and had to pee. Haha.

    Thanks. :)
Ahaha....everyone told me I was like those women you see in the movies that have a kid and are up baking cookies the next day. :p I felt like poop, but I was just so happy that Alexis was here that I didn't worry about what I felt like.

wow... congratulations! I have to admire every young mother on here... I know I wouldn't be able to do that... not for years... Your baby is gorgeous, and so are you! You look so healthy, even right after the delivery! Congratulations again :) *hugs*

I was up and around shortly after I had Zachary too. The nurses hadd to make me get back in my bed, becuase I was walking up and down the halls and showering, and stuff shortly after he was born.. i'm concidering a c-section this time but not sure.

Mama in Wonderland, Please reconsider! A c-section isn't just an easy way out, it's MAJOR ABDOMINAL SURGERY! It's not something to play around with AT ALL.

Consider all your options, weigh them out, speak to a midwife as well as a doctor, seek out a Doula....But please, please, please do not consider letting them cut you for convenience....

I had a c-section... not planned. The surgery itself took half an hour. The recovery? Well, its been 6 weeks and I can just now use my stomach muscles without INCREDIABLE pain. Don't have a c-section unless you have to, as it takes a HELL of a lot longer to "snap back"

moon~those are great pics! You all look really sweet!
I agree, too, that was really fast to be up and walking! I had to be wheeled from my delivery room to the post partum room and had to lay in bed for about 4 hours....and this was also with an epi that they let wear off at the end. My problem was mainly that I was bleeding so badily that I litterally could not move....this is a little graphic, but I had 4 towels shoved between my legs, both a frozen (for my episiotimy) and a normal pad and I STILL bled all over the bed. It was awful....when I finally did walk, it was over to the shower and I fainted.
So yeah, girl, you did awesome!
All these cute little babies here......I WANNA HAVE ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!
