    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bromo-DragonFLY

    http://http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/bromo_dragonfly/bromo_dragonfly.shtml

In case you don't feel like reading those links, it lasts a wicked long time with effects similar to LSD, though less visual. The mental effects can be just as intense though and it is active in very small ammounts like 250 MICROGRAMS. I guess you could use liquid measurement and use a dropper or dilute the whole batch after weighing and lay it on paper.

What's interesting is that this chemical was synthesized under the tutelage of Professor David Nichols at Purdue University. Professor Nichols has unfortunately not gained the same sort of fame as Shulgin outside of academic circles, but has done some very progressive dopamine/serotonin research to help work towards curing serious neurological ailments. In the process, he's also come up with a few novel chemicals. If I'm not mistaken, he did some piperazine research that yielded mcPP and TFMPP.

Bad bad shit. Come up takes forever and lasts soooo long. Dull visuals like some in the DO series. Been making its way onto blotters here and there lately too.

Alright thanks. I was really originally wondering what the chemical name was at. I looked all over erowid and didn't find much.

I do not mean for this conversation to deteriorate into name calling and one upmanship, but in response to what tools are good to use for research, I figure that in this case, Wikipedia is a good place for Desert Nightmare to start his research. You and I may know that Matthew Parker came up with Bromo Dragonfly while working with David Nichols to figure out which benzodifuran anologues would trigger a lever response in rats trained to distinguish LSD from other substances. You and I may know that various substances were offered to the rats for comparison like TMA-2, mescaline, 2cb, 2cb-fly, and bromo-dragonfly and that by judging the rats' lever-pushing responses found that bromo-dragonfly elicited the most similar effects to LSD out of the compunds tested in this particular experiment. You probably also already know that this discovery led them to investigate which 5-HT receptor sites were most affected by bromo-dragonfly and compare those to the receptor sites affected by LSD to determine the pharmacology of the newly synthesized substance and furthermore, determine why it was slightly less active than LSD if it had an affinity for almost all the same 5-HT receptor sites. I felt that for a curious 17 year old interested in novel chemicals, wikipedia might have been a better starting point than:
Dihydrobenzofuran analogues of hallucinogens. 4. Mescaline derivatives
Monte AP, Waldman SR, Marona-Lewicka D, Wainscott DB, Nelson DL, Sanders-Bush E, Nichols DE J Med Chem, 1997; 40(19):2997-3008

I by no means claim to be an expert in pharmacology or chemistry. I do try to teach myself through reading research papers the nature of the substances classified as "research chemicals" because I feel that it provides us valuable insight as to how our bodies are engineered to operate.
After and during such reading and piecing together of information, I may bioassay a compound to gain a better understanding of its activity and how the physical effects correspond with what the research says is happening inside my brain. In this case I have; and still stand by my assertion that bromo-dragonfly is active around the 200-250 ug range.
On the other hand, I have not tried a dose as low as 25 ug, so sunsets may be correct as well.

Ya I had some bromo-dragonfly in the summer. Takes like 3 hours to come up, and it lasts until the next day, until you sleep basically. You can't sleep on this shit for at least 14 hours.
It gets kinda crazy at higher doses though, but they aren't crisp hallucinations like LSD its more melting like shrooms.
