pricing art is a wierd thing. it's one of those reasons i don't like seeing people try to make everything have to begin and end with little green pieces of paper. i'd take the 50bux if the idea was of wanting to sell it in the first place. i'd ask five times as that much then take whatever anyone would be willing to give me, as long as it wasn't less then the 50. if no one was willing to actualy give me that much or more i'd just keep it. this isn't advice on selling anything though. i can't say as i've ever been all that successful at trying to so take that with a grain of salt if at all. i've actualy seen what to my eye is equivelant tend to go for arround slightly less then that, 35 or so, so i'd accept 50 as a pretty good offer though she might be able to get 75. also depends somewhat on physical size and medium. looks like oil on canvas. if it is, and it's bigger then say 11x17, i'd go for the higher amount. i don't think there's enough interesting different kinds of things in it to bring more then 100, but people do seem to pay more if it's large format. people are also idiots to pay more for a print from someone they've heard of then an origeonal from someone they haven't but that is what people do. and the whole bussiness of art investing is assiningn and rediculous. it would be better to trade something like that for a month's worth of groceries or even a months worth of rent directly, then all this nonsense of trying to set dollar amounts on everything. =^^= .../\...
$50? I'd expect more for something that good. It seems pleasantly simple, and really deep at the same time. Very cool. If she does anymore work, I'd like to see it.
that's cool man. the mix of the colors and the moon through the trees makes that a soothing, calming picture.
