Where do you think you were in your past life?

I sense I was a really fucked-up girl, probably a beatnik or a hippie in the 60's/70's because I am strangely attracted to that time period and my parents were 20 in the 80's, and my grandparents way too old so it didn't come from them, that I committed suicide... had a relationship and it didn't work out but he's my soulmate and I'm supposed to work it out in this life. Work on myself, get over the suicide issue...

I think before that I lived in the 10-20's during the Art Nouveau period and Roaring 20's... I think I died young too...

Of course this is just my imagination and intuitions. I don't even know if I had past lives, or if reincarnation exists. I think it does... but I am an agnostic, so...I just sense this stuff.

I am a little psychic but it comes in waves and I can't control it at all. Usually when I wanna see something I won't be able to, and I will get flashes at random times. I get dreams... communicate with my spirit guide... and "ghosts" but then again how am I supposed to know I'm not just skyzophrenic? haha...

Anyways what about you and your past lives? What do you think?

 

Phew youve had some really cheery past lives!
Just my opinion , but can you gauge or feel anything positive you feel from learning in these past , or your current live?Isnt that the whole idea of reincarnation?

The past lives idea is interesting but some people explain it by:-
-a genetic memory ( ie one passed down in genes)
- or us psychically reading old thoughts that reverberate through the universe for millenia after.

Personally I dont see any reason why someone cant be a serious scientist and believe in reincarnation.
Even the Christian church for I think its first 500 years had reincarnation as part of its
teachings , Ive heard.

My past lives were:-
1)someone upper class - I hate anything run of the mill , chorelike or unnecessary hard work , or being part of "suburban masses"
I also hate the upper classes - maybe its karma giving me payback for past lives!?lol

(I m proud of my working class background , but some of my grandparents were from upper class type familes).

2)I was probaby Russian.I just seem really interested in Russian type things - maps ,people , architecture , culture , personality traits etc .etc
Even learning Russian words ,and I otherwise hate other languages

2 of my grandparents were slavic - one was Russian

3)I wonder if my past lives were in the future or on another planet.
I just see the world as very dysfunctional and anti technology.
To me , its like everyone wants to sit in damp caves all day.
I just cant follow it.

Talking of spirit guides , I have like lucid dreams with like visitors offering me "wisdom"(?).
Usually I still find it a bit freaky- not knowing whether to talk to them or say "fuck off youre meant to be dead"!lol
Did it freak you out early on?How did you learn to speak with them?

 

Just looking at your own past life feelings.
The 60s , Art Nouveau and Roaring 20s were eras of idealism , romanticism , and in the case of the Roaring 20s an irrational exhuberance of beliefs that could never be economically feasible or sustainable - hence the Great Depression afterwards.

Maybe the symbolism is trying to tell u something?
Hope u dont mind but I feel youre trying to say your freedom is curtailed and you "Must " sort things out with your "one soul mate".Youre also suggesting ( in a way)that you couldnt flourish past your early years because forces were too much for you.

My view is that you must be aware of powerful forces and use them to your advantage , and not see yourself as a victim of them.
Just as there is a place for the Romanticism and beauty of Art Nouveau and 60s culture , to survive and be worthwhile they had to evolve and live with the realism of other forces.
I think of the art saying "Form must follow function - to be truly beautiful".

What is gone , is gone- past lives , and whatever else.Everything evolves if it adapts.
Maybe we should take inspiration from the past to learn and grow in our new lives?

Anyway , who knows?.Fuck knows! lol

I dont want to sound too insane...though probably am..But ive always had a deep facination with the Shelleys and Byron...almost to the point of feeling a longing as if missing dear, old friends, which, logiacally is impossible...I werent around in the 1800's
Ive also had a pulling towards Jane Seymour..short lived queen of England..she was a verry kind lady..but I dont know how I know this......yes, Im quite insane !!!!

 

I was a WWII pilot in my last life. dreams, and "memories" have told me this. but i seriously have thousands of memories from past lives. they have definatley influenced me, and in a large way have shaped my current life. However, the factors of soceity, background, and other people do have a shape over your life as well.

 

I have one really strong memory that i am almost positive isnt mine. I just remember being lost in a big building with walls that were mirrors. This might have been a dream of some type, or maybe a past life memory? i dont know

 

I have a strong feeling that I wasn't a very good person in my past life so in this one I feel as though I'm searching for somekind of atonement. But what that might be, I don't know.

 

I was a soldier by heart... I've been checked cause I had this strange attraction to war, ever since I was a little child I drew war instead of little houses and people...

But I've found passion for war is pretty much the same feeling as love, as intense! So you can use one for the other, and I know a girl who's def. loving it!
I am strongly considdering signing up for the army still tho...

 

I have recurring nightmares about dieing in VietNam, and very clearly remember that soldier's last thoughts about his sister (who I've met in real life, but didn't have the guts to ask her about him). Anything about war, especially that particular war, makes me physically violently ill. I got the shakes real bad and threw up in highschool history class when the teacher wouldn't let me leave the room when he was showing us live combat footage from VietNam.

 

I'm sure none of us has had any past lives. That idea was started by religeous leaders who wanted you to go into battle and die so they could enjoy the wealth gained by war. The Japanese hari-kari pilots are the most recent example of a mislead people. Chances are any sense of being another person who is fucked up as mentioned in the first post is a telepathic connection to a fucked up person. So don't worry about being fucked up, you're just fucked up by association and also presently more ignorant than a box of rocks.

crazy, Im not real good in this thing, Ive only come close to astral projection once but have had deja voo alot in my life, like ALOT. Even from shows like Prison break I dreamt about a certain part of it before the show even existed. then noticed it later when I decided to watch it hahah. But ya back to my post I have no clue what my past life is but for some reason whenever the country China comes to mind I feel a real wierd feeling, like a homesick like feeling....wierd thing is Ive never been in china in my life and I dont know why I feel that.
