Does anyone else get this? When I trip up in a dream i try and catch myself but I wake up and realise that I'm already lying down, so I end up giving some kind of spasmodic jerk. It's quite funny, I was wondering if it happened to anyone else.

Also, can anyone else go back into the same dream after having woken up? It works sometimes, but only if I think about it and fall asleep.

I dream of that as well. Tripping and falling. And it feels as though I've fallen into my bed from a different kind of reality... Weird sort of dreams...
It rarely works for me the thing with continuing a dream I've waken up from. But if I want to get rid of a nightmare and stop it, it continues

Yeah, that's another thing. When I'm having a nightmare and I can't make myself wake up.

this is odd. i don't think i've ever stubbed my toe like that in any of my dreams or if i did i just leand over and floated without hitting the ground. only rarely is there ever anything in my dreams just immagining it so can not reshape. sure there's plenty of needle in a haystack phenomina to prevent me from hurting myself or others, but the only time anthing adamently prevents being reshaped or ignored, i believe there are maybe another dreamshaper or several, like myself, involved in this.

going back into the 'same dream'? sure; all the time. it's like somehow phasing between parallel universes or something. i might not be able to land back in exactly the same timeframe and context, but often in the same general neighborhood. and there is definately a mappable and well maped geography. (complete with busrouts, trainlines, major and minor landforms, artifacts and demographic patterns). individual persons are only arround if they and i both happen to feel like it, but places, high ones yes, many many same places i return to again and again and without the're being frozen in time either. each visit they've chainged just a little bit, just like things do in places in real life. (and invariably most of my dreams are more about exploring places then ever about meeting people, though as i say, once in a while this happens too. only much more rarely do they ever closely resemble anyone i know from when i'm awaike)
